About
Welcome to my practice! I’m Garrett Gooch, and I’m truly excited to support you on your journey toward mental wellness and personal growth. As a compassionate and dedicated psychologist, my goal is to guide you through the challenges you’re facing and help you achieve your full potential. With extensive experience working with both teens and adults from all walks of life, I bring a deep understanding and a warm, empathetic approach to our sessions.
My passion lies in addressing a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, trauma, work-related stress, gender identity, sexual concerns, addiction, body image, sleep disturbances, grief, and life transitions. I’ve had the privilege of working in various settings—private practice, community mental health centers, and academic institutions—which has enriched my perspective and enhanced my ability to support diverse needs.
I have specialized experience with First Responders, individuals coping with PTSD or developmental traumas, health practitioners, Psychologists, 2SLGBTQI+ individuals, and young adults navigating their path to independence. This broad background has given me a nuanced understanding of the complex psychological, emotional, and social factors that influence well-being. I look forward to the opportunity to work together and help you move toward a more fulfilling and balanced life.
